Angels express sympathy following Leicester City helicopter crash

2 weeks ago By Jim Rowe

Condolences conveyed to family

Tonbridge Angels Football Club sends it’s heartfelt condolences to the family of Leicester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha following the fatal helicopter crash on Saturday evening just outside the King Power Stadium.

The club are also thinking of all connected with The Foxes, players, officials and supporters at this incredibly sad time.

Dave Netherstreet, Chair of Tonbridge Angels said today: “Whilst for us in the Non-League family, Leicester City can seem far away competing in the seemingly rarified air of the Premier League, they do come across as a genuine family and community club. An example of this occurred only the other month when they gave one our Academy players, Josh Stirman, the opportunity of a trial with the Foxes’youth side, the experience of which can only benefit his future in the game.”
