Paul Richardson RIP

By Jim Rowe

Funeral arrangements confirmed

Very sad, but not entirely unexpected news, has been received of the passing of Paul Richardson in the early hours of Sunday 7th October.

Paul had been taken to Pembury Hospital last Wednesday in a serious condition following a bleed from the brain.

Angels supporters will remember Paul as one of the PA announcing team and also working on the turnstiles. More recently he had taken on the distribution and placement of the 1st team match fixture posters to over 100 locations in and around Tonbridge.

Paul may have left us but we shall not easily forget his cheery greetings and amusing jokes. To put it simply he was a truly decent bloke.

The club and its supporters offer their heartfelt condolences to Paul’s family and close friends at this sad time.

A One Minutes Applause will be held for Paul before kick off at the home match against Bognor Regis Town 13th October.

A service to commemorate Paul’s life will take place at Tonbridge Baptist Church, Darenth Avenue at 3:30pm on Monday 29th October followed by a reception at Longmead.
