Angels Commercial Manager takes retirement

Angels Commercial Manager, Phil Emblen has decided to stand down from his role at the club with immediate effect to spend more time with his family and in particular his grandchildren.

Angels Chairman Steve Churcher said today: "Phil has done a great job in bringing in additional revenue through sponsorship and advertising. You only have to look around the ground to see the place crammed full of perimeter advertising boards or on match days to observe the sponsors lounge with clients entertaining their friends or business colleagues to judge how much revenue Phil has brought to the club."

For his part, Phil has expressed his gratitude for all the support he has been given over the years by advertisers and sponsors.

The club has already started a search for a new Commercial Manager and should anyone either be interested in this role or know of someone else who might be suitable, they are asked to contact Steve or any of the club directors.
