Tonbridge Baptist Church raises £400 for Angels CRY campaign

5 months ago By Jim Rowe

On pitch cheque presentation

At half time during the home match against Staines Town on 10th February loyal supporter Pete Shearman presented a £400 cheque to interim chairman Steve Churcher for the Angels Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) campaign which raises money to screen young people for undetected heart conditions.

As well as a regular visitor to Longmead, Pete is also a member of the Tonbridge Baptist Church family where at their Christmas Eve service collection the £400 was raised.

Our heartfelt thanks go to Pete, the congregation at Tonbridge Baptist Church and its minister Neil Durling who is of course our club chaplain for their generosity.
