Angels Ladies exit Kent County Plate

Brave fightback to draw level but in vain

Angels Ladies we’re knocked out of the Kent County Plate by higher level opposition in the form of Glebe FC.

Angels went two goals down but by half time had drawn level through strikes from Becky Janes. Despite having two efforts cleared off the line, they were to concede twice in the second period but it was a good performance by the girls and will have been a more than useful experience as the squad continues to evolve.
