FA's Girls Football Week triggers local initiative by Angels

For the first time, Tonbridge Angels are participating in the FA’s Girls’ Football Week which takes place in October.

It’s the second such event of the year. In April more than 52,000 girls, double the original target of participants, took part in the first week of activities in sessions delivered in schools, clubs, community groups and wider organisations across the country.

At Longmead we are encouraging all girls aged between 10 and 16 to join us on Sunday October 9th from 11am for tailor-made coaching sessions with our qualified TAFC Community coaches, Dom Welsh and Callum Adonis-Taylor.

Our brand new Ladies squad will also be in attendance, and will be happy to answer any questions that girls or parents have regarding Girls and Women’s Football.

If you are interested in registering for the session, please e-mail tonbridgeladiesfc@gmail.com with your name and age, along with a parent’s contact details.
