Striker Read signs for 2018/19

Alex Read, a goalscoring phenomenon at Harlow Town, has swapped the red shirt of the Essex club for the blue of Tonbridge.

Having been with the Hawks for five seasons Alex has decided to take on a new challenge and will be hoping to transfer his goalscoring achievements to the Angels.

His goalscoring pedigree includes 52 strikes for Harlow in 2013-14, a Club post war record and in five seasons at the Arena he has clocked up 278 appearances scoring in that time 178 goals.

Angels Boss, Steve McKimm said today: “Alex is a player I have admired for a number of seasons now and his goalscoring record speaks for itself. I’m thrilled that he has decided to join us to become an important component of the squad for 2018/19.”
