New faces to freshen up 1st team squad

Tom Jelley becomes an Angels player together with two loan signings

Angels supporters travelling to Staines for the club’s Bostik Premier fixture this Saturday (11th November) are likely to see some unfamilIar faces when their team takes to the field for the pre-match warm up.

Tom Jelley (30), a Ryman Premier title winner with Hampton & Richmond Borough in 2016, has signed for Tonbridge. Other clubs where Tom has played include Kingstonian and Tooting & Mitcham.

Angels boss, Steve McKimm has also secured one month loan deals for Gillingham’s Bradley Stevenson and Ryan Worrall of Eastbourne Borough.

McKimm said today: “We have a busy late November with an opportunity to push on in the league and I’m confident these signings can help us to do that. I welcome them all to the club.”

These arrangements are all subject to the satisafactory completion of appropriate paperwork.
