Tonbridge Angels FC is slashing the price of match day admission for adults before 2:15pm to mark Non-League Day on Saturday 13th October.
The bargain rate is being offered to celebrate Non-League Day and coincides with a home League fixture when the Club entertain league title rivals Bognor Regis Town with a three o’ clock kick off.
Adult admission is normally £11.00 but for all those arriving before 2:15pm it will cost just £5.00 to enter the ground. Reduced rates are already in operation for young people including free entry for any child ( under 13) accompanied by an adult.
Non-League Day occurs each year on the Saturday during the October international break when the Premier League is suspended together with very few fixtures in the upper reaches of the Football League, and is seen as a huge opportunity to put semi-professional clubs in the shop window. Football lovers are encouraged to visit their local town club and get a taste of the friendly and welcoming nature of non-League football.
So apart from the match itself what’s on offer at Longmead, Darenth Avenue, TN10 3JF home of Tonbridge Angels FC, particularly before the 3 o’ clock kick off and to take advantage of that money saving earlier arrival:-
Watch the two teams in their pre-match warm up
Enjoy a delicious hot or cold snack
Sup a pint of real ale in the club house
Listen to a fabulous selection of old and new chart hits
Grab the chance to win some serious cash prizes with our Raffle and Golden Goal competitions
Visit the club shop to buy a scarf or replica shirt
Purchase and peruse the match day programme full of interesting information about the club
And that’s all before the really serious action starts at three o’clock when the teams kick off for 90 minutes of Bostik Premier action.
There will be plenty of stewards and other staff to assist first time visitors in finding their way around.
Chair of Tonbridge Angels, Dave Netherstreet said: “If you enjoy football and have never visited Longmead then why not take this opportunity to come down to your local club and enjoy not only the reduced price (before 2:15pm) but also the friendly welcome, ease of access, and the excitement of the semi-professional game where you are always close to the action. There’s plenty of cover should there be a little rain, and there’s a large free car park. We look forward to welcoming you.”
