Damian Scannell signs contract for next season

Central midfielder Damian Scannell has signed a contract to stay at Longmead for next season 2017/18. He put pen to paper in the Longemead board room immediately after the home match against his old club Dulwich Hamlet.

Scannell arrived at Longmead last summer 2016 as a winger, but has since successfully converted to a holding midfield player.

Angels boss, Steve McKimm said: "I'm delighted Damian has agreed to stay with us for next season. His reading of the game is terrific and the deep midfield position seems to suit him very well. He has put in some great performances for me."
