Casuals too strong for Angels Reserves
Weakened team suffers
It was a bad day at the office for the reserves at Longmead on Saturday.
With Goal Keeper Louis Lawlor and midfield general Cam Milham missing and further injuries affecting selection, it was the wrong day to meet the league leaders. Every shot the visitors had seemed to be a well struck effort in to a top or bottom corner. With the possession being far more evenly distributed than the shoreline suggests, it was in midfield and upfront where the much younger Angels side failed to make a full impression to turn possession to oportunities and it was never difficult for Casuals.
Good performances from skipper Callum Taylor and Brandon Myers were the highlight of the day, but many lessons on how to cope with an experienced and organised side will need to be learned quickly as they move on from this game.
