Ressies win on the road

Early red card for hosts helps to seal good win for Angels

The reserves travelled to Royston Town on Saturday with the objective of bringing 3 points home.

This was accomplished and far from smash and grab, the boys in blue were in control throughout the game. Royston were put to the sword in the first 5 minutes when trialist Ebonu ran on to a through ball and cleverly took his first touch across the defender, giving the hapless centre half no option but to commit a 'last man' foul and was red carded as a result.

However this galvanised Royston and they battled hard for the rest of the 90 minutes.

However classy finishes from Ebonu (2) and Kitzito (2) saw the Angels finish 4 - 2 victors.

Louis lawlor pulled off a suburb reaction save after a deflected shot was heading to the roof of the net. And with outstanding performances from Brandon Myers and Cam Milham it was a good performance alround for the young Angels.
